Well said...and it was a somewhat precarious situation. I think it would have been better if the Mannings could have found an inconspicuous spot to watch the game...but maybe they tried. The paparazzi is pretty hard to shake.

I find it very ironic and pretty much fitting for the way things happen in my life...but why did it have to happen that way. Of all teams for NO to face in their first SB...why did it have to be the only one that they could have met in the SB that has Archie's son playing for them. (I know Eli is out there, but there's no way Giants and Saints could ever meet in the SB...unless they realign and put one of them in the AFC)

Archie said early on that he was happy for the city and the Saints, but that of course he was rooting for his son.

A can't lose situation for him- Now it's 2 sons and a his city with rings

But we DID break Peyton. Not physically perhaps, much worse, We broke him mentality and left a scar on his career.

Archie has never sought the spotlight and rarely did except when advancing charitable causes or for his broadcasting career...

That family is a class act all-around and we are blessed to have them in our community...

Drew Brees is now the most successful quarterback in Saints History and we couldn't have been blessed with him at a more needed time...

Maybe we had to wait these years to truly appreciate the moment; though for Archie is was a terrible injustice a better team was not placed around him to succeed...

Archie will forever be the first son of New Orleans...
