Congratulations Super Bowl Champions!

Congratulations Saints and Saints fans! You won in spectacular fashion. The best team definitely won on Sunday night.

If I had to pick one moment that defined the guts and the "who wants this more" attitude, it would have to be the onside kick at the beginning of the second half. Very risky. If it would have failed I'm sure there would have been a lot of second guessing Peyton's decision to do that had there been a different outcome of the game, but I thought it showed that the Saint's were playing to win. I also thought that the Colt's were playing not to lose, and it showed that Caldwell is a lucky coach who inherited a great team. (by the way, I am NOT taking anything away from the Saint's with that statement. They owned the Colts.)

While you can bask in the limelight, I must look forward to next year. :brood:) Can't wait to see you again. Quite possibly the first game of the season, Vikings vs. Saints.

Once again, Congratulations!

If history is a barometer it will take ya'll much longer than that and you'll blow it again.
:^p

You seem much more human than many of the Purple people who've stopped by. Kudos.

We don't like mullets in Louisiana.

Thanks Odin. I was talking to a buddy yesterday about the first game next year. If Brett returns I would bet it is that Minny game or the Pitt game possibly on Thursday night.

Thanks Choupique. I try to walk upright and not breath through my mouth when I visit other boards.;)
Well, history isn't on our side, but it wasn't on yours either!;)
We now have a QB drama to look forward to. If Favre retires and TJack is our QB, I think it will be a long season. We waited 3 years after 98' to get back to the NFCCG, in the grand scheme of things, it's not that long of a wait. If Favre comes back, it will still be tough.

As far as not liking mullets, I think you may like them more than you think!http://www.mardigrasparadeschedule.c...Drew-Brees.gif

While it would probably be referred to "hockey hair" up here, it's pretty close!

Heh. Hockey hair. That is funny... but what isn't funny is this.

Someone that cheesey down here wouldn't last long. There is a common term we all use for tools. It starts with a d.

Congratulations New Orleans Saints! Super Bowl Champions! I am very very happy for you guys. The SB party I was at Sunday night had fans from quite a few other NFL teams cheering for ya (including me)!

Again, awesome game and a fantastic win! Enjoy it! Y'all deserve it!!

I posted this as part of my reply to my being welcomed to your message board, and your moderator suggested I repost it here:

Thank you for allowing me to register. I've been a lifelong fan of that other Black and Gold team, the Steelers, but have also followed your Saints since their inception. Congratulations to the Saints and all of you who support them on maiking it to the top. Class organization, great players, gutsy coach.

Thanks. If Saints don't repeat, I hope another first-time winner like the Vikings win it.
