Putting Brees on the cover of the most recognized (American?) football game, perhaps the most recognized video game of all time? No brain-er for me. More attention for my favorite football team. I'd love it and would be proud.

Didn't we just shatter a 44 year old curse that people laughed at the notion of the Saints making the Superbowl and winning it? If anybody can break this Madden Curse, its Drew Brees.

Also, didn't Larry Fitzgerald still have a pretty solid season this past year despite being on the cover with Troy Palamalu? Wait, Troy was out for the latter half of the season... Man...

Oh my, I am so torn on this one. I do not necessarily believe in the jinx, but I mean, why chance it? But, if he does get on the cover, I am buying me a copy asap. I will just hope that if he does get on the cover, we are not talking about the long term future for Chase Daniel after his 8-8 2010 season... LOL (At least I hope LOL).

So what happens? Drew gets on the cover and during a game next year the angel of death appears and touches him and prevents him from playing another football game for the rest of the year? Pshaw.

:brood:Put Drew on the cover of Madden and keep the game forever. Drew's finally "in the discussion of the games best QB's". I'm excited and am eating up all the Brees attention that's been long overdue. Brees on the cover will give us Saints fans more paraphernalia to keep for the greatest Saints QB ever.

Madden curses can't stop the Cajun Mojeaux or the Cajun Voodoo! Brees will prove them all wrong again! (at least that's what I ask for in my prayers every night!)
