Sean Canfield??
 

Anyone have any knowledge of this kid?? I would say a formal interview shows we have some interest.

Sean Canfield QB - Oregon State

Canfield had one formal interview — with the New Orleans Saints.
Saints QB coach Joe Lombardi had Canfield diagram Saints plays from memory and also talk about plays he made in college that Lombardi showed on film.
“That went awesome,” Canfield said. “… I think we were both on the same page.”

Never really heard much about him, but he did put up some nice numbers in 2009. He is projected as a late round draft pick. The knock on him is his arm strength is very questionable.

Well I for one trust in our coach and gm. They just won us a superbowl, so if
they like him, then what the hell... :) I figured

Didn't really impress at the Senior Bowl. Tyler Palko type?

As far as I know he is the only QB that we've brought in. My guess is he's a hard worker and probably very smart. Our FO has had good luck with the latter rounds and UDFA's. If they like him then I do too. It makes me wonder if Tyler Palko or Brunell will be around next year. Palko has been cut and brought back so many times he must feel like a yo yo.

I think Palko is with the Cardinals now. You may be thinking of Chase Daniel.
