Again, I think unless we get a Weatherspoon type to replace him, there really is no one on the roster that is as good as he is. I think we probably get a bit of hometown discount here. He is a very reliable part of our defense and I hope he comes back if the price isn't too steep. As the first guy to sign with us a free agent after Katrina, I think the team has a pretty large sweet spot for him in their hearts.

I like Fujita....and I hate free agency. Hate to see good players leave, just when they're starting to feel like "family!" Nothing ticks me off more than seeing players we love playing for the dirty birds, or the panties, or some team like that. I hope we can keep Scott!

"I can eat oreo's faster than you" is what he said.

He also told Manning, "thow a few to us".

Fujita is better than the couch potato nation gives him credit for.
I say we trade a few disloyal fans away and keep Fujita.

... actually I thought that was kind of clever. When you play contact sports, you hear others telling you how they are going to carve out your heart with a spoon and stuff all the time, and it is very easy to tune that off because, after all, no one is really going to carve your heart out with a spoon or eat your children or unscrew you head and **** down your neck (as Gunnery Sergeant Hartman, your Senior Instrctor would say). BUT, something that makes you go "what?" and takes your mind out of the game, that's a different story.

Yeah...but something like, "Hey, Peyt...tried out your "Oreo" technique on your wife last night!" might be a little "trashier". :)
