I only have this opinion based on what I seen from Brunell, great guy but I don't think he can do it anymore. He was down right shaky in the pre-season last year, and looked horrible when playing in the regular season. He was however an excellent holder. No shame, the guy had his great moments. I honestly think the Saints need to go into another direction with the backup QB spot. I would like to see the Saints go after another veteran. I don't think Daniel is ready to play at this point. I really like Bulger or Pennington if they become available.

After watching the regular season finale at Carolina... why would the Saints want Brunell back? He was terrible.

I was at the Carolina game and even the Panthers' fan were saying that Brunell sucked. I appreciate all he has done and would like for him to stay to help out, but we really need some younger blood to be able to help out in a tight spot! Have to continue building your team, even if it means saying goodbye to our oldies, but goodies!:brood:
