Drew Brees Sighting in South Jersey
Drew flew in for the Maxwell Award Banquet in Atlantic City today, and was passing through on his way to an interview in Philly. He stopped in MY local watering hole (Sam's Bar & Grille in Blackwood, NJ) for some pizza and beer. Word got out that he was there pretty quickly, but luckily I was off work today when my buddy with a local news station gave me the heads up.
For the record: he's a great guy who took time to say hello to every kid in the place. As he was mobbed by mooching Iggles fans looking for pics and autographs, I elbowed my way in to get my shot with our guy! Needless to say, I am too tickled for words. |
