heck yea......scheffler would start over thomas IMO and that would give us one of the deadliest red zone passing games in the league

can you imagine a 3 TE set with all 3 of them on the field with colston split out wide......if i were a defender i would crap my pants

i like him but at what cost? i think he wants more money than what he would be worth to us. we have plenty of wepons hope we focos on a lot of D. spend that money there.

health is a huge issue for our TEs and apparently fullbacks too

same reason i wouldnt be surprised to see us take a WR

Nah we got Shockey, Thomas and Billy Miller should be healthy again soon. Lets spend the money and picks somewhere else. And if we want another TE lets draft one with the same pick, or get Greg Olsen from the Bears.

You know...Shockey may be nearing the end of his career. He's got a ring...he could probably make a whole lot more money as a pro wrestler. I'm betting that if he does play next year, it will be his last.

Even a mediocre tightend would do well in our offense. Lets look elsewhere; sure up the defense or find a "decent" backup incase Brees twists an ankle or something.
