Wow. Tutor for Sanchez I'm sure. Is Chase our #2 this year? And who will hold for the FGs this year if we lose Brunell? Questions questions.

I won't be too upset if we lose him.

The Jets can have him.

Yes they can. I'm certain that there are better back up QB/field goal holders out there.

I won't cry. I won't cry. No, I won't shed a tear. Just as long...as the Jets...sign Mark Brunell.

Re: Jets Hosting Brunell today

i like brunell

hes goin to be a backup wherever he goes but id rather him back up drew because he knows the system and would do fine filling in for spot duty

strato 04-07-2010 04:20 PM

Re: Jets Hosting Brunell today

He is a helluva holder to..we forget that

QBREES9 04-07-2010 05:07 PM

Re: Jets Hosting Brunell today

Brees Bulger and Daniels. I would like to see the SAINTS pickup Colt but I think we have a prayer.

I agree with this. I would feel better with Bulger then Burnell.

Re: Jets Hosting Brunell today

Yep, would love to see Bulger in a Saints uniform for sure. Brunell is a class act, great holder, but I think his productive QB days are way behind him. No big deal if he signs with the Jets. Sean Payton shouldn't have an issues finding a new backup QB.

I like this Bulger for backup idea.

subguy 04-08-2010 06:36 AM

Re: Jets Hosting Brunell today

Bulger's experience is alot more recent and I would think that is important if you(god forbid) really need a backup.

Re: Jets Hosting Brunell today

Don't know if Bulger is ready to be a backup especially for the team that originally drafted him and let him go.

I don't think thats completely unrealistic. He will need a job somewhere and I don't think that will be Washington and I have a hard time seeing him as a starter any where else than maybe Oakland or San Fransico. I'd take him if possible.

technically....

bulger hasnt played since week 11

brunell played in week 17 and held kicks all throughout the playoffs

somebody's experience is a little more recent

What is a yougan? Is it Swaheeli for ain't growed up yet?lol
Anyway, we need an experienced vet for our #2 QB while Daniels learns for down the road. Bulger could work, but I don't really have a clue how good he would fit the system.
