I think he'll be their that late 2nd or 3rd. But if he is that would be great. I Lommis will draft the best player available.

Very solid move, should be a decent fit. If nothing else Brown should be at least equal to Grant, and based on recent history should be able to stay on the field. Also, eliminates a big "need" as the draft approaches.

The New Orleans Saints have reached an agreement with free agent defensive end Alex Brown, team spokesman Greg Bensel and Brown's agent Joel Segal confirmed.

Segal said it's a two-year deal.

Brown played with the Chicago Bears for the past eight seasons.
