I know its crazy... but if you were GM, and had the power who would it be?.Ive named a few in the poll, but feel free to add some...Just a hypothetical scenario....

seriously, any of the above.

add, any of many other pro-bowl caliber DE's, particularly better pass rushers. And just about any other NFL's starting running backs.... but particularly, Ray Rice would be sweet! I love that guy. I like me some P.T., but Rice is nice (too)!

Do you know something I don't know? Aside from being the real deal on the ground, he puts on a way better display in the passing game than our own "receiving back" Bush.... so spare me the Bush as a WR or even as a Decoy B.S.

Eh...none of them, really. Especially not Adrian "Fumblina" Peterson.

And don't try to change my mind with stats and all that bull****. I am probably one of the few people that doesn't go "ooh ahh" everytime they show an AP highlight reel.

on that note, I remember when all the Saints fans thought that we were doomed without Joe Horn and that there was no chance he was going anywhere..... then there was to be no life after Deuce, and so on.....

We don't need Rice since we got PT. I think the combo of PT and Bush is an excelent one. I'd just would like us to add Gerhart to the mix in the draft.

We won the superbowl with Bush..so i have soft spot for him...and he can be deadly..He showed some toughness i had never seen..and i hope that continues...But i will admit he's grossly overpaid..im sure Loomis will fix that..

Point taken, but I think Rice would be like the potent combo that won most of our games of Pierre and Bell. Rice would just be a much better Bell. Don't know if you remember, but probably about half of our games were won in convincing fashion with Bush getting about 2-6 balls. A lot of times, they tried to get something going with him on the ground and abandoned early on. Rice would be just as potent a WR threat.

I think the efficiency of Bush is a vast exaggeration in many peoples minds, and then when he does something up to par with what the majority of NFL RB's are doing, it get's exaggerated, as if it's a relief from fans holding out for something good.

No way it's any of them ... there's only one... and it's Darrel Revis ... simply the best shutdown corner in the league.

pat willis fat Albert and Andre Johnson are the only players up there intriguing, Ray Rice and PT are the same back thru and thru you cant compare stats look at reggies touches compared to rice's (little known fact I played against ray rice in high school we demolished them in a scrimmage and state playoffs ) If I were a Gm and could pull off a deal I'd trade 1st and 2nd, next years 3rd for Chris Johnson, Then I'd trade Reggie Bush for Marcus Griffin Straight up. Johnson is so fast it should be considered cheating, Griffin is legit he'd give the team stability on the back end , he plays the ball well and is a solid tackler the guy makes plays and courtland finnagan does not play on his side either. Maybe for a DE say Justin Tuck or Mario Williams, DT, Fat Albert or Jovan Haye (+ atleast a 3rd) being an Offensive minded person I'd even try to acquire Andre Johnson, Colston and Johnson on the outsides Meachem and Devery in the slots if healthy would almost guarantee playoffs,( gotta be in it to win it) there are many quality players in the league so if I wasn't blown away by a certain player I'd stay with what i have.

This isnt meant to bash Bush..its to see if the time does come to trade Bush..what people would kinda expect in return...Now as far Hintoflogic..its his right to that opinion..and im sure there are many that feel the same way...I look at it like this we just won the superbowl and Reggie was a part of it and he's a Saint so i want to keep him..But i really think he's way overpaid and im sure all of us can agree on that..so lets just hope that can be corrected..so people can feel better about a key part of this best Saints offense weve ever witnessed....

Revis is good, but I don't like the hype. Asomougah has been doing it for longer, and what about our own Jabari Greer? Or our own Legend Slayer Tracy Porter?

About the only player I would consider trading Bush for is Troy Polamalu, given that his knee is 100%

+ 1 rep.... True, however he is entitled to his opinion regardless of what fact have or have not been presented. I do hope he understands that He works fine with what Sean Payton wants to do, when he drafted Reggie Bush he understood he would not be an every down back, and that he's a Professional athlete, not just the term but literally just that, Reggie is so fast and athletic as a coach you get the best players the ball as often as possible maximize his touches, to maximize his touches he has to play RB period point blank no more no mas. I do hope LOGIC Read this and READ my very enlightening statements in the sharper thread i dont want my drawings to go wasted. I understand the logic if you will for his frustrations about Reggie but dont consider the position consider of how he's used and what he offers and allows the offense to do, is he the next Gayle Sayers NO. But I'd rather have him playin for us then against us

The facts are Bush is very talented and very overpaid. If he takes a cut in pay, I say keep him. If not, lose him and get some defensive players or picks out of the deal. It's all about defense right now! We need another DT and both outside linebackers. That is, if one of our young guys can't step in and play. I really don't like Shanle. I know someone is going to quote his stats here, but he is too damn slow to cover TE's and RB's. You give us that and either resign Sharper or move Jenkins to safety and we're back in the super bowl, no questions asked! We need speed on D, plain and simple. The offense will pretty much stay intact, so we're good there.

I would trade Reggie for another Reggie.....Reggie white!....since that is impossible...I think I would just keep the Reggie we have!

Guys he makes a lot....but he is very important to this team....when he is not suited up...I always feel like our chances of winning just went way down!!!

If I had to trade Bush, Andre Johnson or Patrick Willis...

Johnson in this offense would just be...be...like old school Tecmo Bowl or something...

Patrick Willis is only second because until we get better D Linemen to occupy the opposing offensive line, he would be limited...

I'd trade him for just about ANY stud defensive player, and probably 10 RB's in this league, or a 1st round pick.

as an 'OLE MISS' Rebel fan I prefer P. Willis. And as far the SEC (which is the dominent confernce in the USA) you can never go wrong in picking there best players.

I think I'd rather keep our "Best Offense in the League" . Let someone else have the "Best Backfield". And one more thing, someone in here remarked that none of our guys are selected to the pro bowl b/c of the way SP spreads the ball around. This is another part of what makes our offense go. The only "Featured Player" in it is Drew. Ain't it great?
