Lets review
DT
Linval Joseph, East Carolina, 6-4, 328, 5.09.
Kade Weston, Georgia, 6045, 304, 4.97
Two big quick DT.
DE,
Daniel Te'o-Nesheim, Washington, 6-4, 267, 4.72
Added depth at DE
SLB
A.J. Edds, Iowa, 6-4, 246, 4.67
the best pure 43 SLB. Got plenty of WLB
S
S, Michael Greco, Central Florida, 6-3, 224, 4.40
SS, Myron Rolle, Florida State, 6-2, 215, 4.54
FS, Eddie Hicks, Southern Miss, 6-2, 185, 4.45
CB, Crezdon Butler, Clemson, 6-0, 191, 4.41 I know a lot S but I see it as the saints attempting to up grade special teams. We learned with Porter and Greer out the saints secondary is not that deep. Saints address the need for depth with some good risks and definitly upgrade the kick coverage units.
KR/WR
Brandon Banks, Kansas State, 5-7, 155, 4.29
Saints go for an explosive KR/PR
TE
Dennis Pitta, BYU, 6-4, 245, 4.63
Dorin Dickerson, Pittsburgh, 6-1, 226, 4.40TE/HB/FB/WR(?)
Dorin is a weapon SR can line up all over the place. Plus it gives the saints a big back. I would love to see him at FB at times. FB at 4.40? Lmao
Pitta is a smart TE that fits in nicely with SP offense.
OC,
Eric Olsen, Notre Dame, 6-4, 306, 5.22
Saints future starting C or at least a top back up at OC and OG.
Yes this is a cap friendly draft. Three to four players for the price of 1 first rounder. It would make the camp moves very interesting to say the least.
Settle down, people. Use this for translation...
