Drew Brees ready to begin Super Bowl defense
By Associated Press NEW ORLEANS — Drew Brees says the last thing the New Orleans Saints want to be is a one-hit wonder. Brees says the 2009 Saints will celebrate New Orleans’ recent — and first — Super Bowl triumph for the rest of their lives. At the same time, the quarterback says it’s critical to learn from the mistakes of recent champions who missed the playoffs one season later. Brees says he’s enjoyed a busy offseason that included Mardi Gras parades and continued fundraising for his foundation.
