Re: Cody

I would rather Joseph from East Carolina. There's something about Cody that reminds me of Jonathon Sullivan. Not a good thing.

Re: Cody

I don't get the comparisons to Sullivan. Cody anchored a line, that held Florida, and Texas at bay. That and their playing styles are completely different in my mind.. Oh well... JMO

If the Mountain falls to #64 we get him. That's a great spot for him.

Don't we play a 4 man front? How would Cody fit into that?

Am I allowed to call Cody a fat turd on this thread? Just checking.

Re: Cody

Actually it would improve his game...In a 3 man front he is a 2 gap lineman lined up over center covering both A gaps. In a four man front he could play a shade or a 3 tech which would give him one gap to cover since he cant move laterally this allows him to just plug a whole and stop the run.

I dont think he graduated but hey he blocked 2 fieldgoals against Tennessee , he destroyed LSU, and he hoisted the Crystal Football and brought it back to tuscaloosa wher it belongs... HE made the Bear Proud so we will respect him here.... GOT IT!!!

or you will soon be known as Little Kiper... LOL

I needed to find an interpreter for that one but ok. In simple terms, I thought when you had a nose tackle in a 3 man front; he was more just an obstacle that was hard to move, forcing the play one way or the other. I've heard people say a 55 gallon drum of concrete could play nose tackle because he's only asked to hold his position and not rush or persue.

What do Alabama fans and maggots have in common? They can both feed on a dead bear for 25 years.

I have mixed emotions when we discuss Cody. When I think of him I can't help but think about Sullivan...........However, if GW wants him then once again I'll have faith in the coaches and FO.

Please be respectful of others and use the more proper and appropriate "merde gras"

But seriously folks...

I wouldn't mind seeing Cody in B&G. As long as he can step on the field and fall on someone, he should be able to plug the middle.

.. although, I am starting to have this feeling that all this talk about trading for Haynesworth may not be so empty after all
