I don't think I'm going to bother to watch today. For one thing, I'm pretty disappointed in the way they're covering everything after the 1st round. They don't even stop yakking to report who's being picked. It's like watching a 4 hour version of sports center. Besides that, it's clear that we're just drafting men for the practice squad anyway. Looks like we're going to go with 2 kinebackers and 5 defensive backs full time this year.

I agree with you on the coverage. It really is hardly worth watching.

Last night instead of covering our pick they talked to Jerry Jones about how he felt when the old stadium was demolished. Really? WTF does that have to do with the draft? If you think that is so interesting run a whole special on it -- don't do it during the draft.

The crazy thing is that it's the same way on both ESPN and the NFL Network. It's the NFL draft! Just cover the draft picks and save all that other stuff for NFL Today or something.

In Loomis I trust. They know a hell of a lot more than we do when it comes to evaluating players. We are gonna be beast again next year and I can wait. Look out NFL, the champs are comin to get ya!

Yeah, I like it. I also like the power rankings on each selection. Seems like Saints got good value on a lot of their picks.

... every year is the same thing, except every year they add more and more people to "offer their expert opinion". Before Gruden signed up with MNF, the NFLN had him, Mayock, Marshall Faulk and Eisner doing the draft, and they kept it informative and entertaining.. now it is just gone the way of ESPN with the added gazillion product endorsements.
