Re: Al Woods
Cam Thomas or Al Woods would look nice next to Ellis down the road. That said, we'll draft a WR.

Posted 8 minutes ago aaSaints Move Up in Round 4; take LSU DT Al Woods The New Orleans Saints began day three by moving up in the fourth round in a trade with the Arizona Cardinals at number 130 and selected Al Woods, a defensive tackle out of Louisiana State University. The 6-3, 309 Woods was a one-year starter with good size and strength. He is an effective player between the tackles when he plays with good pad level. He has strong hands when he utilizes them to jolt and restrict interior running lanes. He can be an effective bull rusher to push the pocket but needs to expand his pass-rush package with more counter moves. Woods has the size, strength and enough athleticism to be an effective run defender at the pro level and gives the Saints a big, big body inside. The Saints traded the 130th pick overall (fourth round) to move up to 125 and also surrendered a sixth round pick (201) to the Cardinals. The Saints now have one pick left in the draft, in the seventh round at #239 |

Good value, huge upside. |
Re: Al Woods
Better than getting Al Woods, we jump right in front of Carolina, who was about to take him. Beautiful. Nothing better than improving your team and screwing a division rival at the same time.

Re: Al Woods
Thank god, we finally made a move that makes sense. I also think, that we have LB covered with arneaux or dunbar.
|
Re: Al Woods
Wait!!! I thought we didn't draft LSU players. LOL.
