As with most young stud College RB's, its not as much about their ball carrying running skills as it is the nuances of the game.
Blocking, Blitz pick-up, receiving patterns, conditioning, special teams, field vision, etc Thay all know how to run the rock. What separates the great from average is all the other little things. They must like his potential to learn all of the above. Isn't this his 3rd time with us? Or am I thinking of Herb Donaldson? |
