Good to have him back. I'd like to see what the kid can do in Black and Gold again.

all right now, we just added our missing link for the departed mike bell. i really liked hill remember everyone was very sad that philly took him. he was a great competitor and he will be on our sidelines as fresh legs just as bell did. awesome news.

Loved PJ coming out of Wisconsin. I think our RB position is now filled. Now lets get a DT and LB for Brown.

As with most young stud College RB's, its not as much about their ball carrying running skills as it is the nuances of the game.

Blocking, Blitz pick-up, receiving patterns, conditioning, special teams, field vision, etc

Thay all know how to run the rock. What separates the great from average is all the other little things. They must like his potential to learn all of the above. Isn't this his 3rd time with us? Or am I thinking of Herb Donaldson?

It's his second. We signed him as an undrafted rookie last year.

I know, but I thought we also reclaimed him at one point during the season, which would make 3 times we signed him.

i know philly took him from our practice squad after 6 weeks, he stayed on there active roster with them for 7 weeks then 2 weeks on there practice squad then washington signed him to there active roster for the season final. this is according to stockmans311 article, so i see this is only his 2nd stint as a saint. he is very capable of filling bells position.i think were solid again at the rb position.

are you saying that hill doesnt understand the nuances of the game?

id say there is definitly a reason we are still considering him in our loaded backfield

Philly liked Bell better .... I guess over PJ Hill ... our gain ... Hopefully he watched the SB and saw SP hollering at Bell for not wearing the proper cleats!

Should be interesting to see if he can get into the mix. He was quite impressive in the preseason geames.

No, I'm not. You didn't understand my post, I said basically the opposite of that.

I'd say that as well, in fact, I did say that.

Hill runs hard! I like his effort. He did well for us in the pre- last year. Just wasn't enough room for him last year. With Bell gone, I don't see a drop off with Hill in that spot. I think he'll do well again given the chance. Welcome back.
