What the Heck?
Not sure what to title this but I know some very pissed off Ex-Saints fans. Ex as in 1 hour ago.
The Company I work for has had season tickets for 25+ years, dating back to at least the mid 80's. The person who had the authority to renew the season tickets was out of town for a few weeks and apparently missed the call about renewing. He missed the 1 1/2 week deadline and our tickets were sold out from under us. He was told no equal tickets were available and the next upgrade would cost over $2000 more per ticket.... I work for a very large, well known Company. I will be Black and Gold until I die... but a few fans were lost.. |

Sorry to hear that, but either the company you work for is not big enough, or not very well organized. Either that, or this is just an excuse for the company you work for to discontinue the purchase of the tickets. |
Re: What the Heck?
I did not find out third hand. I was listening 2 feet away from the person talking on the phone who also asked to talk to a manager. He tried for 30+ minutes to get it sorted but the Person on the other side said there was nothing that could be done.
If the Worlds Second Largest Oilfield service Company is not large enough than no one is. |
Re: What the Heck?
Hate to hear that, I might have a set of 3 for sale in the terrace later in the season just depends on if my brother's are going to all the games this year or not

Re: What the Heck?
If you stop being a saints fan over that, don't know what to tell you. that has nothing to do with the players, which are who we root for.

Re: What the Heck?
LOL It does not phase me in the bit! As I stated I will die a Saints fan and cheer from the Clouds or Fires (where ever i end up).I live in Houston and could not care less because the tickets were for Customer entertainment purposes only..... Just thought it was pretty crappy nothing could be done for a a 25+ year loyal Season Ticket holder.
I mean really. If you are working Season Tickets and see that a set of tickets has been held by the same person for 25+ years, some slack should be cut. It does not matter how big the company is, if it is 2 seats owned by Boudreaux and Thibodeaux for 25 years.... We all know what Saints fans have endured for the last 25 years... Saints Fan Forever :bng: |

They should be lucky they even got the opportunity to go to home games in the first place. I live in South Dakota, and the only time I get to watch the boys play live is if I make the 29 hour drive to New Orleans or they travel to Denver, KC or Minnesota. Then, I have to drive the 8-12 hours just to go to the games. It sucks that their tickets were sold from under them, but they will get over it. Just my opinion. |
Re: What the Heck?
what a shame sorry you guy's lost your seats. its time to bring joe-renew to the parking garage and settle it once and for all. LOL

Re: What the Heck?
Theres always the tv..lol
|
Re: What the Heck?
They gave your tickets to some of the people who lost their seats earlier this year due to remodeling. They are trying to find tickets for those people as fast as they can.

I am sorry to hear about the loss. If customer entertainment it your company's goal, you might consider getting Texans tickets, though. 90% of the fans in Reliant are "clients." I live in Houston too, but forget clients. My tickets are for me & my wife. nobody is gonna unseat my butt in the Terrace. We'll hit I-10 again come football season. |

Re: What the Heck?
aw, cmon, lets dont torch the guy....
Although I do have a hard time sympathizing for corporate client entertainment, when there are 30,000 real fans lined up wanting tickets. But I aint mad at ya, ok? Next time you feel like saying something, X2690210black, I want you to say it, and dont worry about what we think. This is a good board to express whatever's on your mind. cool? Now if this were two old people who've been season ticket holders since they were sitting in Tulane Stadium back in the day, we'd be lined up with pitchforks and torches. everybody have a rockin weekend. |

Re: What the Heck?
ROFLMAO The 626 is not just random numbers, there is a story and reason haha.
I am 100% coon ass. Born and raised in Abbeville. I have NO issue with expressing my self in a verbal way.. lol There is a funny story behind this though... As he (boss) was *****ing and nearly cursing on the phone I looked at a c0-worker and said .... "he procrastinated again".... That was not nearly as funny as what happened next... He hung up the phone and said FK the Saints i am going to be a Vikings fan and hope they kick their ass on opening day... With out missing a beat I looked at and said "well if your now a vikings fan there is something you should know, Your two starting defensive tackles are serving a four game suspension.. Good luck on opening day"... Table of 8 erupted in laughs... |

Kieawww! Dats some good Boudin! Tell them ALL I said hello. Most of them know me, or the rest of my family. |
