Jake is going to audible every run play to a pass. LOL This will be an UGLY game for the saints. Saints have not been able to move the ball against any other defense and now they face a team that will know every formation, every play, and probably the game plan thanks to Jake.

I look for a colts type score and the lowest production of the offense thus far this season.

Its not JD I think you guys need to worry about. The 3 keys to this game are:

1. S. Davis: We didn\'t stop him, nor did the Falcons. But that does not mean he can not be stopped. The Saints need to mininize his production as best as possible. The sad thing though is FOX will feed him the rock and he wears down teams. Stack it up and dare them to make JD beat you. I know its weird following the display Manning put on the Saints, but JD is no Manning that\'s for sure.

2. Panthers D line: I\'m still biased so I think my boys have the better front four, but depending on your perspective, the Bucs and Panthers D-line can interchange the titles 1 and 2.... Haz needs to go back to the forumla that he used to beat....... US with. Duece needs to punk this team with his skills

3. CATCH THE DAMN BALL: If the Saints can connect on their pass plays, I think you have a chance to bring a cocky group of men down to earth....

This could be the week that the Saints show hints of greatness. Its now or never, so why not now?

There is descension among the saints. The players now know the chance of Haslett having any control over the team next year is all but removed, ESCPECIALLY if they lose another game like last week. Will they throw the game???

Several offensive players wanted Jake to step in the last 3 games of last year but Haslett stuck with Brooks. It\'s not a Brooks thing, BUT do these players have something in their heart to prove Haslett was wrong, ESPECIALLY when seeing how the offense has been performing this year??

Storm Clouds are getting very dark very fast over HAZ and Co. The only thing I rule out right now is a hard fought game by the saints.

FWtex -- It\'s cool. I like a good bet. There\'s a chance the players could lay down on Haz, but I don\'t believe that will happen. No one on the Saints cares about Delhomme !! Something else, IF the Saints win this game I promise you that it will go a long ways towards this team getting some confidence back. The offense will have a break out game at some point this season. I just hope it is against the Panthers. Oh what a fun place this board would be to see Delhomme suck against the Saints.

I thought if there was one game that the Saints would be fired up, it would have been against the Colts, but it didn\'t happen. Bring on Delhomme and the Panthers. If nothing else it should be interesting.

Billy what did Delhomme ever do to get hated so bad in New Orleans?I think he did a great job of carrying the clip board for the saints.I also think he was always prepared.Now he\'s finally gotten his shot to shine,and you want to see him fail.I don\'t understand.What\'s the deal? Delhomme did one thing wrong....he was born in Louisianna. And anytime you have a local kid on the bench and the starter isn\'t in the Pro Bowl, you get a QB controversy. Delhomme has to be commended for his professionalism in not fueling that fire and willingly accepting his rank and performing above par when on the field. He\'s a competitor with a huge desire to win and unfortunately the coaching staff only had two alternatives and neither a good for the team. Keep him and have the fans creating disention and jeoprodizing the confidence of the starter, or dump him and get a new back up. We all know what choice was made.

I would like see Jake be a successful QB in this league but I want no one to be successful at the expense of a win by our team. To cheer for Delhomme to show us up is not the work of a Saints fan. To hope to see our starter fail is not the work of a Saints fan. You can criticize our players all you want but to wish defeat to prove your point means it\'s time to shop for a new jersey.

Any Saints fan can predict the worst, but be glad to eat his words if the opposite ocurs.

Jake is a very likable guy and most of us are cheering for him. We\'re just tired of the \"Brooks sucks, Saints suck, because look at Delhomme in Carolina\" posts that have been embedded into our skulls now for 8 stinking months now. If Delhomme does well thats all you will hear in every post regardless of the original topic by the 5th reply.

I don\'t bash everyone on this board. I think BMG and FWTex have valid, lucid, ideas that makes sense. Unlike BillyC and his brethren who still think that Brooks and Haz shouldn\'t hit the road. Here\'s the Carolina game in a nutshell:

Brooks comes out cold yet again and Carolina gets excellent field position in the first half while putting up a 17-3 lead at half.

Haz FINALLY sits Brooks for Bouman and Bouman actually has some moments, but not enough. Davis takes over for the offense and Peppers, Jenkins (with his new contract in hand) takes over for the defense. Jakes ends up going 15-21 for 235 yards and two tds. Brooks goes 4-16 for 115 yards and one int. Bouman-20-34-267 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Final Score- Carolina-34-Saints 17.

Not even sure what it is, but if it makes you sleep better at night, sure, had a blast. When I think of you dog, I liken it to this kid sitting in front of his computer, pulling his pud while he hits the \"post reply\" button. You really get off on trying to get under people\'s skin. While the QB debates have remained steady here long before you ever hopped onboard, I for one have stated that I am waiting until the end of the year to decide whether or not AB is our QB. And the coaching staff change topics are new, I said it after the first game and still believe it, this team has shown no heart from day one, and that is a direct reflection on the coaching staff. Only difference between you and me, dog, is that I don\'t regurgitate my feelings over and over and over and over, add nauseum. But as the cat tires of his endless struggle with the ball of yarn, so too, do I tire of wasting time addressing your posts. True, WhoDat, although after the first game I did point the finger at coaching. But I have stayed Switzerland on Aaron, and will continue to do so, despite last weekend, until the year\'s end. He may have the ability, as his stats prove, but he needs to find a way to channel that energy he had in 99. All great QB\'s have one thing in common- the ability to make things happen when you need it. I don\'t know if it\'s how well you cope under pressure or what, but when we first saw this guy back in 99, he showed us a glimpse at something we hadn\'t seen in a long time- the ability to almost will himself to win. But since that time, his stats appeared to be decreasing. So, this is it, if he can\'t do it this year, it\'s time to look elsewhere. If he can, great, that\'s one less hole to plug.
