On that note, I am officially for the New York Super Bowl, because I see 3 upsides.

1. All the potential misery this could cause all the VIP's, bigshots, dignitaries, celebrities---all the dipthongs that have hijacked our Super Bowl. priceless! ---which could potentially leave the Super Bowl as nothing but a football game to decide the champions of the NFL.

Actually, Yat, most people dont know this, but a lot of major cities have rodeos, even San Francisco. (jokes withheld) The biggest event in the sport is in Calgary. Of course we are more familiar with the PRCA Finals, which is Rodeo's "super bowl" in Vegas.

You got it, though. Charlie Pride recorded his cover of Hank's "Kaw Liga" at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo in ? 1969? Could be '68. You can hear the crowd in the recording. I was there, as a little kid, and vividly remember the Astrodome that night.
