Teammate says New Orleans Saints tight end Jeremy Shockey is 'doing fine' and recovering at hospital
Update from earlier reported Shockey being rushed to the hospital:
New Orleans Saints tight end Jeremy Shockey is "doing fine" and recovering at Ochsner from what doctors diagnosed as a seizure, according to teammate Darren Sharper. Sharper was one of a handful of teammates and staff who visited Shockey after he was taken away by ambulance after suffering seizure-like symptoms in the team's weight room Thursday afternoon following a morning practice. _________________________Reported earlier Jeremy Shockey was taken to the hospital on Thursday after suffering seizure-like symptoms in the weight room, according to the local ABC television affiliate in New Orleans. The Saints have not confirmed the story and Shockey reportedly walked to an ambulance under his own power. We won't speculate without getting more details. Shockey was taken to the hospital a year ago because he was suffering from dehydration. cant be too good. hope hes ok |
