Talked to my buddy last night that works for the BnG. He said he and the team are getting their rings on June 13th. Can't wait to see those bad boys!!!!

How can ya'll call that ring anything but horrid? it's not even diamonds around the inner background, it's "RAISED METAL", only part that have something that look like diamonds is the inside of Fleur de lis the rest of it aren't even stones.

Are there any women on this site?
Women look at that ring, count how many gems you see on this ring.

this is the closest pic of that photo, so no one needs glasses to see this, from what i see, all i can count is 1 gem in the middle of the fluer de lis, the rest is raised metal to give it the "bling" look, my brother have a ring made like that to give it a encrusted diamond look from afar..

Question, who here would pay $5000+ for this? because thats the Budget for Superbowl Rings, you think a 5 grand ring is going to have 1 gem and some raised metal, with a few words engraved on 4 sides?

Well, I'm no jeweler but that looks like 8 diamonds on either side plus 1 in the middle for a total of 17 and how do you know that the raised metal as you call it isn't platinum? Anything that says World Champion to me is a thing of beauty!

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that's NOT the ring. That's a lapel pin that happens to be shaped like "some" rings, but no way.

In fact, I don't see any diamonds there.

But I love everyone's enthusiasm.

To everyone going nutz over this issue (present company included or not) please step back from the computer, step away from the forum, take a deep breathe... wheeeeew....

I wasn't one of the people going nutz (in this thread, that is) however I do believe it's excellent advice for everyone who finds themselves getting upset in this forum.

Personally I'm doing pretty good with the exception of one little irritant that seems to keep popping up, but I'm learning how to deal with it. It's weird, too, because it was the very word that seems to keep coming up that was not only the source of my irritation...but also the base word of the word in question is the key to my ability to deal with it. Now...if I can only do it.

Anyone who figures out what I'm talking about now gets REP's for the rest of their life, because I intentionally made a riddle out of it.

I don't think this is the real ring, and here's why:

Look at B-Dubs Avatar (The original pic that was posted on blackandgold superbowl Facebook page)...look at the finger behind, or underneath the "ring"...now, if that were actually a ring, the finger would have to be pointed in a different direction, get what I am saying?

Aside from that, it just doesnt look shiny and new, the gold isn't even very polished.
