As I stated in an earlier thread...those two were friends, but it was eventually gunna get real. Now it has...can't wait for the game!

F the money Imma do it for the red,white&blue And you'll see me cuz I'll be dressed in black & gold. Protect your neck that's all the warning you get."

When asked if the feud was real, Sharper responded:
"What u think, he pitting me as a terrorist, that ain't funny. ... You'll be there Thursday night so you'll see how serious I am."

Stankoe is a punk. It's one thing to talk trash, but when you start comparing people to terrorists, you've crossed the line. Real classy.

The war of words between Saints safety Darren Sharper and Minnesota Vikings tight end Visanthe Shiancoe appeared to escalate on Wednesday when Sharper didn't react well to being compared to terrorist Osama Bin Laden.

The two friends and former teammates have been trash-talking back and forth via their Twitter accounts for the last few weeks, helping to generate some extra buzz for their nationally-televised Week 1 Thursday night showdown in the Superdome. But Sharper said Shiancoe went too far Wednesday when he posted a photo of Bin Laden with a No. 42 written on his chest and the words "I'm Darren Sharper" coming out of his mouth.

I thought it was a tasteless act by Shiancoe to do that, but this whole thing has just become childish. To make it a little more childish... "But, Mom! Darren started it!".

My prediction is the first game will last about 4 hours with all the flags that will be thrown.
