Day Two Minicamp Update

I'm unfortunately apprehensive about Jenkins. I loved the pick, then he was held back.... although he showed "on the spot" ability in pre-season. When they've put him in at safety, he was hit or miss. He''d sometimes show up big, but then the next play or so be out of position and getting burned.

I'm pretty certain he's not CB material..... he's just too slow. I think he can be a great safety but has to get the system down (as he showed glimpses of). Until I see it consistently, I'm holding my breath. I'm just afraid he's too slow all together..... hope I'm wrong.... I really do.... but with little time put in on the field with the clock running, I don't want to see a career hampered by nagging, recurring little injuries either though.

i agree, but i really think he was drafted for our future saftey all the way. they just wanted to see if he could play corner in the nfl and found out that he's just not quick enough. he has speed just not for corner. that body is made for saftey anyway.
