Re: QB Deals in place: Ramsey to Saints; Brunell to Jets
Last time I checked, Ruston High School was in Ruston, not in Shreveport. Ramsey being a first round pick is kind of interesting...He bounced around alot and hasn't had much real-work. If Payton likes him then so do I. If he can manage not to give the games away, throw some timing routes, screens and dumps to the backs on linebackers, I'll be happy. Just the simple stuff to keep the chains moving.

if sean likes ramsey i like ramsey. don't mean he'll be there when the opening kickoff comes around. to me he's had bad coaching from day one. steve spurior can coach up a heisman but could'nt keep the same q.b. on the field at times in the pros. ramsey was mishandled. he had great potential out of tulane. 1st round pick i believe. it's maybe too late for him now he may be a little to rusty and old but at least not like burntnell.

Probably the only way the Jets get to see a Super Bowl ring :-p

Re: QB Deals in place: Ramsey to Saints; Brunell to Jets
Ramsey should be fine as a backup QB. He still has decent potential. At 31, if he is willing to be a backup the rest of his career, he could be a very good one for the Saints.

Re: QB Deals in place: Ramsey to Saints; Brunell to Jets
If Sean Payton thinks he'll be adequate then I've got to give him the benefit of the doubt. He doesn't have to be good but he does need to be smart.
