I am surprised that he is returning.
He is very stupid.
Addicted.
He cannot let go of the fame and attention.
He was more than a good qb last year.
He is one of the best.
His name is in the books.
He is going to be a Hall of Famer,easy. That is a given.
He is worth millions.
He has won it all.
He can easily ask for any network to give him a place doing commentary.
There are many NFL shows and he can find something to do on one of the shows.

Why put his old body through an NFL season?
It is not worth it.

The Saints NFC conf.game was the last one. I don't know if it was the worst for Farve. It was bad.
The Saints played fairly. What were they to do in football, a hard ,contact sport?
Blow Farve a kiss!!
Profootball is hard on the body.
No team can say it will be in the SB until SB Sunday.

Brett Favre said Thursday that his recovery from ankle surgery is on schedule and that he would like another shot at the New Orleans Saints.

In an interview with the Sun Herald of Biloxi, Miss., Favre, 40, declined to say he would return for a 20th NFL season. But he refused to rule out a return to the Minnesota Vikings.

He indicated the disappointment over the loss to the Saints in overtime of the NFC title game has lingered for him:

''I would love to go beat the Saints. I know I can still play at a high level. Last year was a great year, but it could have been better."

Favre would get that shot if he returns to the Vikings, who play the Saints in the season opener on Sept. 9.

Brett Favre has yet to officially declare his intentions for 2010, but his actions continue to be transparent. Heck, he's not above some mild trash talking.

"I would love to go beat the Saints," Favre told Al Jones of the Biloxi Sun-Herald. "I know I can still play at a high level. Last year was a great year, but it could have been better."

i posted the farve alert really in awe, i really thought he was done. this game, the way they are promoting it is re-dick-culious if everyone knows what i mean. it means the saints were'nt worth it in prime time without farve's legacy if he did'nt return, well i say B-LL SH-T with all the media crapola. the world champions will be ready for whoever steps on the field.

I'm sorry, i can't find any website where he has announced his return. Every article says that he would like to return and have another chance at the Saints, but he still has not made a decision. If you see an announcement, please post it. It is looking more and more that he is going to return, but I'm still sticking to my feeling that he will not return. I'll probably look like a fool in a couple of weeks, but I just have a feeling he will not be back. Remember, you heard it here first.

edit: I watched the NFCCG the other day, and we pummeled him in that game. I am suprised he did not announce his retirement at the end of the game. His wife was in the stands almost in tears. That game reminded me of Evel Kneivel's jump at Wembly Stadium.

Another for the I don't care folder. Whoever QBs for the Vikes, will get an extreme prejudice beatdown, for all of the smack, they have been talking since the NFCCG. We won the superbowl. I'm with Hulka on this one. I don't think Brett is going to come back. To get spanked at the end of last season, and then royally again at the start of this season, with the same wet noodle, would be like trying to get off the canvas and beat the 8-count for the 5th time...I don't think he or the Vikes would be the same for the rest of the year. I think Brett hobbles around a bit, keeps everybody hanging for a while and then decides to give it over to the youngsters. We get to beat down every QB they've got. But if Brett wants some more...hey!
