Joe Horn to sign contract with New Orleans Saints; will retire

The team announced Friday that Horn, a former wide receiver for New Orleans, will sign a contract with the club and will retire. Horn was elected to the New Orleans Saints Hall of Fame earlier this spring.

Horn signed with the Saints as a free agent in 2000 and became one of the best receivers in team history. He caught 523 passes for 7,662 yards, both of which rank second in franchise history.
His 50 touchdowns in seven seasons are also third in franchise history.

Only in "Hollywood"!Thanks for the production Joe.he accumalated 523 receptions for 7,622 yds.,and 50 TDS in his tenure with us from 2000-2006...could've saved myself some time if I would've read the info in the first post LOL found some other good stuff so it was worth it Who-Dat!

Sorry for the double post y'all but it's worth doing to diss dirtybirds!Joe wanted out saying he didn't want to be the "just in case guy"lol!27 receptions for 243yds. And one whole touchdown in 12 games!thanks for sabotaging them Joe!falclowns never will deserve Any respect here.they've gotten better, but they still suck

Would have loved to see the outcome in 2000, had Joe been 100 percent, for the play offs. Who knows what might have happened that year. Anyway, love Joe Horn, always will... Welcome back to the fold Hollywood...

This is great news I love Joe Horn.A little know wide receiver that came to us from Kansas City and made a name for himself.Thanks for everything Joe you truely are one of a kind.They should do the same thing for the beer man Michael Lewis.

Sorry; loved the guy till he became a Falcon...

Though I did get a kick out of him and all his kids eating at Western Sizzlin when training camp was in Thibodaux...

Dressed like the Mack; but a down-to-earth guy...

Still he and Morten going to the Falcons; there were other teams other than the Falcons, 49'ers and Rams...

Good Deal! Joe gave his heart and his body to this team. Joe would make the tough catches even knowing he would have to take a lick after the catch. THANKS Joe! I'm glad his efforts will be captured in the annals of Saints lore. Throw them in Joe!
