New Orleans Saints claim cornerback Danny Gorrer off waivers
 

The New Orleans Saints have claimed cornerback Danny Gorrer off waivers from the St. Louis Rams, General Manager Mickey Loomis announced Tuesday.


Gorrer is a second-year defensive back who first entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent when he signed with the Saints in May 2009. The former Texas A&M cornerback earned a spot on the New Orleans practice squad before he was signed to the Rams' active roster in November.

Gorrer, 6 feet, 173 pounds, played in three games for the Rams, started one game and had seven tackles with a pass defensed and another tackle on special teams. He was waived by St. Louis on Monday.

I vaguely remember his name but nothing else. If he was on the practice squad he should have potential.
