10 QUESTIONS WITH TYLER LORENZEN

Who's the one figure in football you admire the most?
"It was definitely Brett Favre. My family is all from up in Wisconsin -- Sturgeon Bay Area. I grew up cheering for the Packers, and Brett Favre was definitely my hero."

Any pre-game superstitions?
"No, not really at all. I used to. My thing was I've always said my superstition is not to have superstitions, so I try to personally do things different. I would say I just try to do things different on purpose so I don't have superstitions."

Who was your favorite coach, high school or college?
"All the coaches have gotten me where I am. I owe so much to Tom Kraft, Eric Keller, Rob Ambrose, tons of different guys have helped me along the way. I owe everything to them."

Who's your favorite musical artist?
"Oh man, that's a tough one. Right now my favorite artist is Mike Posner. He's this new guy. He just graduated from Duke."

What's your favorite pre-game meal?
"I just try to get a lot of carbs. Tons of pasta, whatever they have out there. I'm not too picky."

What is your best football memory?
"It's pretty awesome being part of a Super Bowl, but definitely my favorite memory ever is when (I was at) UConn we beat South Florida (in 2007). They were ranked in the top 10, and all the fans rushed the field. It was crazy."

Who is your biggest fan?
"Definitely my parents or my grandma. One of the two. My parents, I'm their son, so I'm everything to them. My grandma, I could play terrible and she tells me I played awesome. Definitely one of those."

If you weren't playing football what career would you pursue?
"I graduated from UConn with a business degree, so I would probably be working in the business world somehow."

What other position would you like to play?
