He's baaaaaaccccccckkkk. Oh wait, no he isn't.
Not yet at least. But there is a really strong chance he will be back and playing again. Although that bum ankle could keep him from returning.

Lord Favre will be back to face our Saints on Sept 9. He did say he had gained about 14 pounds in the offseason, and that he has to lose that weight, in addition to getting his ankle healed.

But he's too competitive. He will be at the Dome on Sept 9, in front of a national TV audience. Count on it!

Wow, was really hoping to not see a Favre post in here until it mattered. And did "the-commish" just refer to him as "Lord Favre" :: shakes head ::

And, don't get me started on what I think of Brad Childress. We might be here all day!

Favre makes me sick to my stomach. he used to be one of my favorites, but this media frenzy he causes every year has made me wish hateful things upon him.i hope he blows his knee out against us

Even though it looks more and more that he will return, I'm sticking by my original statement I made right after the NFCCG, he won't be back. If his wife has anything to say about it, he won't be back. Go back and watch the NFCCG. She is crying in the stands watching the Saints punish him. But I don't know how much influence she has in his decision. I don't think he will return.

"America's Game" was on last night on the NFL Network, featuring the 1996 Packers. They also played it last week. I'm sure it will play several more times before the start of the season. NFLN is trying to get Favre pumped up to return one more season.

Since "BRENT FAVREY" can't make up his mind, the Saints will be the first to do that for him. By then, they would really be called the MINNESOTA CRYKINGS!!

I don't think Farve will be anywhere near as good as he was last year. He left it all on the field last year and at his age that will take some recovery time. Last year he played well because he had a new team and a mission. He now has to recover from a huge mental loss and injury and the questions are, will his body be able to carry him can he still find joy in the game after the ending of last season? Time to quit while you are ahead.

I don't plan on eating any crow.

He is coming back, he is whining about the ankle to give people reason to speculate about his return, you know more media attention... He is playing on a team that is just too close to not give it one more go.

Oh yes, the Saints did come close to ending his career in that championship game. The beatings that Warner and Favre took were some of the worse beatings I've ever seen a QB take.

I'm trying to get a picture in my mind of Mickey Loomis asking a Saints player what his plans are for next year and getting the Favrian reply, "I'll get back to you on that. About three days before the first game." No ****. I think we all know how that conversation would go.

This is why Minnesota has a lot of talent and no championship. All mouth, all ego, no production. Brett Favre is a joke, a laughingstock. It will be very sweet to see the Saints sit him down again.
