The Saints surprised the football-following world not long ago by abruptly cutting defensive end Bobby McCray.

The Saints have done it again; McCray has re-signed with the team, per a league source.

According to the source, the deal has a base salary of $1.5 million, with another $1 million available in incentives.

The move tends to confirm the notion that the Saints made the move in late June because McCray was due to receive a roster bonus of $1.25 million in early July, along with a $2 million base salary.

The team took a risk that McCray would sign elsewhere. And, just like it did with safety Darren Sharper, everything worked out for the defending champs.

Good move. His contract was ridiculous. He'll make the team and maybe have the year we've been waiting for.

I am glad to have Bobby McCray back in action ...with us. What's a million here or there. He WILL make the team, the question is will he be hungry enough to keep the money flowing into 2012. BMack should get plenty of playtime with the schemes we run and if his production is up, he/we will be right back at the table banging out the money details once again. I think Bobby is going to be good for our new B&G additions. He'll make some people work a little harder to earn a spot and in preparation for gameday. I wonder if they told him they weren't going to give him his bonus? and then would sign him back without it? and make him work for it?
Anyways, glad to have him back!

MORE BREAKING NEWS! Favre announced his ankle, upon hearing the McCray news, got scared and ran off with his foot. He will still play however, as his ego did not leave with the ankle & foot.

Good news ... I had a feeling he'd be back when he was cut. This team needs all the pass rush they can get. Only fear I have is that the ref's cost us the Viks game because someone sneezes to close to Favre

Now all we have to do is get Favrebeans to come back and we can tag that other ankle and beat him up real good for the rest of the season. You know everyone is just itching shut him up and take off a limb.

this is great news to me. when they cut him i were a little concerned about not only how deep we were on de but to lose him with a year under G.W'S system. its going to be even better in 2010

New Orleans Saints’ defensive end Bobby McCray married actress Khadijah Haqq on Saturday evening. The star studded nuptials took place at Vibiana in downtown Los Angeles.



McCray’s Saints teammates Reggie Bush and Jeremy Shockey were groomsmen while Haqq’s best friend Khloe Kardashian was a bridesmaid. Also on the guest list were Khloe’s sisters Kourtney, Kim Kardashian, Kendal and Kylie, along with her husband Lamar Odom. Guests enjoyed cocktails in the courtyard prior to the 6pm vows. A reception followed where Keri Hilson performed “Never Felt This Way” as a surprise from the bride to her groom.



I wonder how wierd it was for Reggie and Kim to be at the same wedding…No sign of Kim’s new boyfriend Miles Austin in any of the pics.
