GETTING STARTED: Training Camp opens for all players on Thursday, July 29 when they must report and take their annual running test and go through a battery of off-the-field meetings and tests. A roster of 80 players is expected to report.



WHERE: The New Orleans Saints Training Facility at 5800 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA. The training facility has two large grass fields that front the property and are located behind large fences. Plenty of bleacher seating is available, but clearly fans that arrive earlier are prone to getting better seating options than those fans that arrive later. The team practices on different portions of the field throughout the practices, thus the higher up the seats you are able to get, the better off your vantage point will be if the team suddenly moves to different places on the fields. The coaches rotate areas of the field to practice in an effort not to wear out portions of the field.
