After much thought (not really) concerning my bet with FWtex -- I have decided that I dont't give a damn about the bet anymore because I just can't stand some of the ridiculos things being said on here and I must respond !!! :P

Yet another confirmation of the Billie reference.

Unfortunately, this was not the first post I saw of Billie\'s return. I am a bit stunned to see a person break a bet that was publicly known but not too surprised by the outcome considering who I made the bet with.

Sure the board may have seemed a little dull this week but I contribute that to the fact, nothing changed among the saints and we can only moan and groan over the same arguments for so long before it gets old.


Would I be out of line to ask that this post be topped for at least the rest of the season?

Honoring a bet doesn\'t have anything to do with football knowledge and an ability to see something from a different angle. I read this board in the hopes that someone can see something I cannot and that may give me a reason to evaluate the team differently.

I like reading BillyC\'s posts. I hardly ever agree with his assessment of Brooks, and his optimism is insanely one-sided. Still, he makes me look at things and double-check my own guess-work.

As for the other.....I just won\'t ever bet with him. ;)

As far as Brooks goes. I have to stretch at times on this subject because the Brooks\' Bashers go to such great lengths to make him sound like the Anti-Christ. But, I know he isn\'t perfect. I do however, believe in him very much.

As far as the optimism goes.... I\'m an optimistic person by nature, but I made up my mind a long time ago on this site to bring the other side of the Saints suck view.
