Millen was a very good player in his time, but, as a GM with the Detroit Lions, he failed miserably.

So I don't know whether to be happy or sad at his pick of the Saints to represent the NFC again in the Superbowl.

That guy hacks me off. On NFLN he was talking about all the things it takes to win, and one of the things he said, which I agree with, is that you have to remain healthy, only his comment was that we were healthy last year and avoided the injury bug.

He seems like a nice guy. I'd probably enjoy drinking beer with him, but if he thinks we stayed healthy last years he's smoking bad crack.

I thought Millen was a pretty smart guy going into the Detriot job, then almost overnight got really stupid. Now after a few years he's gradually getting smart again.

The very same thought occurred to me ... precisely why whatever he says lacks credibility, regarding our being super duper healthy all year long. It shows he does not do his homework. Someone ought to to do this.

Detroit IS the valley of the shadow of death. It can crush many a good man's career.

Of course we are #1, so state otherwise would be ludicrous. (Not Ludacris. That would actually be a pretty cool thing.)

Millen was horrible as a GM without a doubt. But he was a hell of a player, and was pretty solid as an analyst before Detroit. I like his logic. He may not be able to put together a winning team, but the guy does know football. :p

Alot of analysts are saying we were lucky, because we stayed healthy last year... What? Our entire starting secondary was out one game weren't they? At the time, our starting probowl LT, out for the season. Our starting DT, out for the season. What do they consider healthy is what i want to know...
