Betts is going to a good situation. From the Skins, who have basically been dregs for his eight seasins there; to a team that has a legit shot to go all the way.

What RB wouldn't want to land in a situation like that.

If his knees hold up he could be just what we need, and that's a big if. On the other hand it's all pure speculation at the moment. I'm a firm believer that the FO is still making the right decisions, they don't all work out but we've been pretty successful with retreads. Our rookie running backs look good but Ivory has issues holding onto the ball and Hill hasn't shown enough to impress me just yet. We still have three preseason games left.

payton knows that betts is a bruiser, even after an acl he still gets a call. i know people won't be satisfied till they see a huge name guy like a larry johnson or marion barber. i am pumped we have betts , hope i'm right, i think more people should be more excited.

If he can stay healthy, just maybe he can help 3rd down back.
