are you as a Saints fan glad that Farve came back? I would rather lose to Minnesota with farve in than win without him in the game. He is definitely gonna get beat on again, it's gonna be far louder than the NFC Championship game and we'll be on our way again.

Dasidreidia 08-19-2010 01:11 AM

I like Favre, but his era is over. Time to put some Favre on the ground.

foreverfan 08-19-2010 06:19 AM

Louder than the NFC Championship game? Not possible.

Personally I love the Favre drama. It's laughable what he's doing to the Vikings, and you're right, I'd much rather play Favre than not.

Favre cat?

I like that we get the chance to retire him for good....

Saintswrath 08-19-2010 06:43 AM

I'd rather not loose the game at all. If the Vikes beat us on opening night, can you imagine what their looser fans are going to sound like the rest of the season. I'd rather hear them whine about loosing than whine about "see, we should have won the NFCCG."

SapperSaint 08-19-2010 09:10 AM

To echo Wraths comments.....

LOSE? Did say LOSE? LOSE? Are you kidding me, LOSE? LOSE????

I want us to beat the Vikings SO bad, that after the game the sportscasters are at such a loss for words that they have to take a 10 minute break just to realize what just happened.

It will be louder once they drop that SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS banner.

Srgt. Hulka 08-19-2010 09:38 AM

Damn I want to go that game soooo bad.

Rugby Saint II 08-19-2010 10:26 AM

Bring Favre to the Dome.....we can sure use a good laugh watching him crumble. Pants on the ground part Deux.

breesfan27 08-19-2010 11:13 AM

I am soooo pissed I cannot be there in person! But that's what happens when real life gets in the way.

However, I will be watching with the rest of the nation when the Saints officially force Grandpa Favre into retirement for good!

I know, but my brother graduates from the Army the week after and we have to drive to Missouri to see him. I had to decide between that and going home to New Orleans.

No way to work it out so you can do both on the same trip? You can drive to Missouri by way of New Orleans.

I thought of that, but the issue of money came into play. I can't afford to do both.

Plus, I don't have enough vacation time to take two weeks off.

ArmySaintFan 08-19-2010 02:54 PM

you know breesfan, As Proud of a moment it is to Graduate Basic Training the only real concern he will have is getting the hell out of there...if you are not there it probably wouldnt' be a big deal for him (especially if he is a Saints Fan1)

breesfan27 08-19-2010 03:09 PM

He gets two weeks off, so we're bringing him home when we come back. As much as I would love to make the trip down to New Orleans for the home opener, it's just not an option at the moment.

Dasidreidia 08-19-2010 09:46 PM

I think anyone who's there should start a "Favre on the ground" chant and see what happens.

QBREES9 08-19-2010 11:09 PM

BreesFan27... Go Honor your Brother. Drew and the boys will win for ya.

st thomas 08-19-2010 11:12 PM

I really think he won't play. does anyone else think farve won't be the starter sept 9

QBREES9 08-19-2010 11:27 PM

Oh I bet he'll be there. That ego is way to big for him to not be.
