So who's number two....Ramsey or Chase

I like Chase Daniel. After last week, I think he proved that he deserves to be #2. I wish we would have gotten the chance to see him shine tonight.

Patrick Ramsey makes me nervous.

I hope he gets to play a lot next week. Its going to be a tough call. But I'd like to see us keep all three. I'm pulling for Chase

I'm going for Chase too, he's younger and even seems a bit better. I'd like to see him develop a few years under Brees. Since he's young, that's a possibility.

I see it in Chase, too. He's much more familiar with the offense, and he's still young enough that he hasn't suffered from shell shock. Take away the TD pass to Ivory, and Ramsey's numbers were barely even average. I think Chase has the upper hand on the #2 spot.

Daniel gets the nod @ #2. Ramsey makes me nervous also. I say we keep 2....Brees and Daniel. Lance Moore as emergency QB

..lol...well its a way to see if one is ready for battle...and Chase looks like he is ready...and i can rephrase it to say.......Daniels seems more cocky than Ramsey...but that doesnt sound right either...lol...cant win

Chase Daniel, as its been said he looked alot more comfortable when he had the reigns, Newflash: Chris Ivory is Damn Good!!

I like Chase right now, but I would like to see them both get some action in the next pre-season game to make a decision. Chase looked good in his last game but that was one game. Ramsey looked ok, but that was just one game.

You know what? I think I'll leave this one up to SP. I told him he could make the decision on this.

If Daniel is cut he will be picked up by another team. Ramsey probably not.

I am with Chase. Yes, Ramsey has connections to the city, but this has to be performance based choice. I think Chase gives us the best chance to win. I feel we need too many other key positions for depth than to carry three QB's. JMO

Ramsey is a average at best journeyman. With performance being about even you may as well put the stock in the younger guy who's had an extra year in the system. As stated, we likely won't get him to the practice squad again.

Can Daniel still go onto the practice squad??

I like Chase, if for no other reason than he doesn't come with baggage. As other's have said, he does have some time in the system, and he looked good his last time out. Assuming both play decent in the final game, give the nod to the younger guy.

I think it's Chase Daniel. He already has a year of study under Drew Brees. He knows the playbook. He's young. He's got a lot of upside, and he's performed well in the preseason so far.

Again good question, not 100% sure. I think he can. But if they do that I bet he'll be gone.

Chase can go on the practice squad one more time, but he wont last 5 minutes. My thoughts are Ramsey gets cut.

Daniels could back up Drew and probably do fine if need be. Hopefully, that won't be necessary. Fortunately we still have one more preseason game to evaluate the players. Although if the NFL had their way we'd be playing nearly 52 weeks a year without preseason games.
