Perhaps, I think they wanna let all the teams filter thru all the cuts and finalize their 53's, then you can cut a guy in week 2 with less chance of another team claiming him, and sneak him onto the practice squad.

I'll bet Clancy comes back and Wood or Pressley go to the PS.
