Thats the risk you take when trying to sneak someone on the PS.

They probably guessed that either Wood or Pressley would get thru, and it didn't matter which one, as long as one did.

I'll bet Vaughn got claimed too. 3rd best safety in the 2009 draft? Someone is gonna give him a shot.

In future years draft the Saints should skip the 4th round and accumulate more 7th rounders!

My guess is that Gregg Williams probably has a long list of 2-down run cloggers he can call if needed.

The athletic 1-gap penetrators (easy boys, I'm talking football) are probably harder to find, and since we attack versus react he probably desires more 1-gappers like Hargrove.

I think Clancy will be back after his entire salary is no longer guaranteed. And I think Clancy knew that was the plan before he even signed with us.

I agree ..DT is the least important pos in G.Ws scheme...but we do need some depth there..and i agree about Clancy....what do you think about us trading for a LB?...

I think if a good trade is offered, we'll jump on it. I also think GW is convinced he can get by with what he has if needed.

We won't reach out of desperation, but we'll damn sure listen to offers.
