NBC's coverage missed the hanging of the banner and Brees's chant.

Yep, NBC screwed up the whole pregame. We got to see that little tart sing though.

I was disappointed with the pregame....or lack thereof. Didn't see or hear the chant

You may be right...they may have shown it going down right after they came back from the commercial just before kick-off, but for some strange reason...hmmm?...they didn't show Drew leading the cheer. Like I said...I do have pull over there. :)

I saw it too! Didn't hear the chant, but then again, I was kinda not too concerned about it... had a Vodka and 7 in one hand, a blond with a Brees jersey on in the other!

Was more concerned with kickoff.

You didn't actually see the unveiling of the banner (at least I didn't). We missed that, and the moments leading up to it. Thank you NBC for all the morons talking and Taylor Swift singing during the pregame. What we saw was them pulling ing the "veil" in after the banner had already been unveiled or uncovered. I was looking for some kind of announcement, or a countdown, or something like that. We got nothing. We got a camera shot after it had been uncovered. Thats it.

We did not get the pre-game chant either. I don't remember what we got, probably some commercial, but it was not the chant. Thanks again NBC.

Didn't Connick announce the banner being dropped and then NBC cut away because the banner was still half rolled up and didn't unfurl right? It was like a 3 second clip..
