Gotta say, a huge part of getting the running game looked to me like getting #44 back in the lineup!

It was great to see him blowing up LBs again.

Short yardage for the most part looked easy with him back in the groove again.

I completely agree. He looked great - just like he did last year.

I had said that a lot of our problems in the mid season with the "O" was because we were missing Evans!!

Yeah you rite. The Queens have one of the better lines and LB's. I expect us to be a bit of a force on the ground this year too.

I have several friends that I have converted to Saint fans because of my insane devotion to the Black and Gold. I've got the roster out with a copy for everybody getting them to know and therefore love our players. I was so excited to explain how much better we are with Evans back throwing key blocks.
I host a party every Sunday that I'm in town and share the Saints love. Education is knowledge and knowledge is a powerful thing.

Evans is an important part of the run game for sure.

Heath!..i remember reading here a few weeks ago that some poster or imposter wanted to cut him and just use Thomas..lol..Evans is the best fullback we have had in a long time...Nice to have him in the Black and Gold...

Plus he's one of the most versatile players in the game today, he can light up LB's and open holes, he can catch and be effective out of the backfield and he can pass protect. What a great guy to have from a winning organisation.
