Probably needs an MRI. IF it was something they could see on xray, we would have heard by now...

to get hurt on the bottom of the pile sucks man

foreverfan 09-20-2010 11:45 PM

Payton said nothing about it at the after game press conference and there was nothing said on the radio show after the game.

It appears to be pretty serious since he was carted off the field.

I'm watching ESPN

Exactly my thinking. I heard it too... said nothing.

Srgt. Hulka 09-20-2010 11:54 PM

crap, he's on crutches.

arsaint 09-20-2010 11:59 PM

Sprained at best --- out several weeks is my guess...

Srgt. Hulka 09-21-2010 12:00 AM

Coming up any second on espn!

Halo 09-21-2010 12:04 AM

ESPN said bad sprain, may be out up to 6 weeks.

Srgt. Hulka 09-21-2010 12:07 AM

Crap!

arsaint 09-21-2010 12:08 AM

Something tells me we won't see him again until after the bye week.

That would mean no Reggie against Arizona, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Tampa, Atlanta and Carolina (x2).

LivnaLieTimay 09-21-2010 12:08 AM

If 6 weeks is the worst case scenario that's not too bad. Seeing those replays I thought that could be season ending so even though 6 weeks is a lot I'm glad we didn't lose him for the season (if the report is true).

arsaint 09-21-2010 12:10 AM

If 6 is true, that has him coming back at Carolina.

Didn't Reggie get hurt in 2008 in Carolina?

Something tells me he doesn't play on that field and waits until after the bye to play against Seattle.

Ouch

If that's the situation, the only potential problem I see is Pittsburgh (assuming Roethlisberger will be back).

You guys still have a very good chance of repeating this season!

Fibula.
Out six weeks.
I have no words. None. I cannot read or hear about it either.
Just hope he mends back better, faster and it won't be so long.
Good guy. Good player.

Saw it off below the knee and strap on the Lombardi, Reggie would still out run everyone else.
