IF Aunt Ruth had balls, she'd be Uncle Bert.
Ok, WhoDats, its time for some Jim Mora trivia. Fill in the blanks: W_ _ _ _ _ - C_ _ _ _ _ - S _ _ _ _ _ _ Except for the part about losing Reggie, What an outstanding time to be a Saints fan. How sweet it is to be reversed from our old role, of beating the 49ers on the field, and having Joe Montana drive em down the field for a 16-14 win. I remember when we found creative ways to lose. Great teams find ways to win. This is a great team. I'll say it, and I aint scared. Does anybody remember what I said last year, and I wasnt scared? |

3-4 defense seems to be our nemesis.
Willis is an absolute stud leader. They covered our WR's well and got in Brees's face. To me this game looked more like the "finesse" Saints of a few years ago. Great resolve to eek out a victory - that's what champions do. I'm sure there is a "superbowl hangover", they're just finding ways to win. Gut check time for the O and D lines. |

We won a close game on the road against a team many not only picked to win the West, but to go to the SB. We didn't play well, the run defense/tackling was not good, but the D/Special Teams came through with the turnovers. Offense seemed inconsistent, like in the first game vs. 'Queens. I'm glad we're playing the Falcs at home while we're still in early-season playing shape (I know they are, too).
We saw some ugly road wins last year, right (Washington, Miami)? I honestly don't see this team going 13-0, but I know the offense will settle in and GW will produce a D that will keep us in some games. I still like our chances to get back to the BOWL. |

When we have more points on the scoreboard than the other team when the 4th quarter clock reads 0:00, that means we win.
I guess you could say that we gave the Falclowns a peek at how to lose to the on-the-road Saints by 3. I hope they took good notes! |

The 49ers did provide a solid blue print for the Falcons in containing our offense I thought. 3 key things the Falcons need to do:
-Bring 500 high powered fans to the stadium and blast them all full strength. -Trade for Patrick Willis ASAP. -Make sure Boyz 2 Men are on their sideline. |

THey always play us hard. THey are going to give it their best & we will give it our best.
I see a hard fought victory. Hopefully the "O" does show up a little more & the "D" can get a better rush. Activate Junior!!! |

On the other hand, the Falcons dismantled a decimated Arizona 3-4 defense that was not given any help from their QB-less offense. The Saints present a much different story on both sides of the line. |
