Payton's post game interview
 

Anyone know where I can see a transcript? I live in the Bay area and someone's saying Payton's post game presser was 'arrogant'. I just want to see what he's talking about...

I didn't see the interview, but I don't think Payton is arrogant. Confident, yes, and when you're a Niner fan, and the other coach is talking about how big a win it is for him, you can say it's arrogant. I would say I don't want an arrogant coach, a confident one, yes.

I doubt Payton was arrogant... Probably need to consider the source. If they are 49r fans or live in SF...

I'd say he isn't arrogant enough considering how little respect the Saints get.

It wasn't that he was arrogant. He was mad as hell. When Reggie got hurt he knew he made a mistake putting him back there. His team almost lost the game and he was mad at himself. I watched the interview and he wasn't in the least bit arrogant. After reading his book I know that he doesn't accept his mistakes very well.
