Bush's leg and recovery time
ive never broken a leg. whats it like coming back from that?
|
4 to 6 weeks, and it'll ache like hell beyond that I"m sure.
|
My daughter broke both her Fibula and Tibia in the same leg, when she used to play soccer for a women's team here in the UK. It took 3 months before she could play with confidence again, but now she's OK.
Sounds like Bush has only one bone to worry about in his leg and with him being very fit man anyway, I would guess you "may" see him walking again on it, without crutches, in 4 weeks from now. Just a guess though! Good luck Reggie, you are due some that's for sure!! |
The real problem is the bone healing. Bone heals fast and completely stronger than before. The real problem is that the muscle cannot be worked out for a month and no real weight can be put on the bone.
Hopefully then don't rush him back before he's ready. |
I broke my femur in my left leg about 10 years ago in a car wreck. Titanium rod put in; it took 2 months of rehab before I could put full body weight on it. And to this day it aches when I run, play basketball, etc... And arthritis sets up in it when the weather changes...

Chris Ivory looked good in preseason. I'm hoping he comes back strong and can give PT some rest while we're waiting on Reggie to return. We are down to looking for the best scrub on the street again. Our pro scouting dept. always has someone on the radar at all positions. When Payton walks into his first meeting this week he'll have a list of 2-3 players that are available and if need be they'll be flying in on Tuesday.

is this the same thing T.O. broke that year and he healed in some freakish lenght of time?
|
What's the deal with Ivory? When will he be back?
|
He'll be back in 4 weeks.
|
One thing you have to remember is he'll have access to state of the art technology and medicine. So whatever experiences you have, he'll most likely be able to recover much quicker.
