Saints Sign Carney
 

FoxSports.com's Adam Caplan reports the Saints have re-signed K John Carney.
Carney had been working in a consulting role with the Saints since losing his job to Garrett Hartley last year. The 46-year-old is a more reliable option at the moment while Hartley works though his case of the yips. Carney is worthy of a waiver addition in the Saints' high-powered offense.
