Carney statement . . .
“Garrett & I have become very good friends over the last year and a half. I am here to help him & help the Saints. There is no ‘stealing somebody’s job’ or anything of that nature. Garrett was phenomenal last year. Around the league, everybody has very high respect for what he did in the playoffs & the Super Bowl. He will remain a great kicker in the NFL. I am just here to help him through this,” - John Carney

Here's an article on the matter...
New Orleans Saints kicker John Carney says he's here to help the Saints and Garrett Hartley | NOLA.com |
Then bring him back to Coach. Don't cut AA! that sucks.

Exactly. Hire him on as a coach, but don't waste a much needed friggen' roster spot if he's not even going to kick. |
I think he will kick.
It's gonna be like when he and Cundiff were here. Carney gets the short ones, Hartley gets the 40+ yarders that he seems to be automatic at making. |

Glad they are keeping Hartley. He and Carney will get his issues worked out and he will win another game for the Saints on a clutch kick. He's still young and the future as a kicker for the Saints
|
It's a little different now that Carney's been named starter for the Carolina game.
|
You guys make me giggle!
|
Get him through what? He's a grown damn man who makes alot of money to kick a freakin ball through 2 yellow posts and he can't do that right! Take his job Carney, PLEASE !
