1 Attachment(s)
I stumbled upon this while looking for metal album news -
Legendary metal vocalist, Housecore Records label founder and lifelong die-hard New Orleans Saints fan Philip Anselmo (DOWN, ex-PANTERA) recently made his second trip to the Saints headquarters to interview tight end Jeremy Shockey. Anselmo has been a die-hard Saints fan for his entire life. His interview with tight end Shockey aired on the Louisiana Sunday Kickoff, and the remainder of the interview is posted now via Anselmo's Housecore TV (check out the clip below). That was awesome, 2 guys I'd want in a fight on my side
|
Phil is sooooo high in this interview....
|
I doubt Phil is sooooo high in this video...This is years and years of heavy thinking, drinking, drugging, writing songs that hit your own self at the core, self examination, doubt, fear, addiction.........this is not Phil high......this is simply Phil.
|
I know high.... He's high.... I saw a web interview with him about a month back, and he wasn't like this at all.

its just Phil being Phil, if he was sober then it would be just another boring interview
|
Did I say I had a problem with him being high? Just said he was high.... :)
I love Phil. Pantera is my favorite band of all time. GET HIGH PHIL!!! |
right on brother!!!
I know high too but I still think its just Phil being himself. |
I knew I loved Pantera and DOWN for some unknown reason other than they are TOTALLY KICK@$$!!!!
On a side note... SaintPaul is Dueling it out with Saint Paul.?!?!?!? |
I don't know if King's X and Pantera sound anything alike. Besides that, isn't Ty Tabor from jackson miss?

Kings X was okay but they were no Pantera.
|
Uh, Strat..... Ty Tabor - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ty was born in Pearl, and started playing in Jackson.... |
No. Not at all. I have a friend of mine, from Clinton, MS, and he used to see Ty perform with local bands there, long, long, loooong time ago. Way before Kings X. I only got into X, after "Gretchen Goes to Nebraska". I actually saw Phil perform, with Razor White, at a place in Jackson, way before he joined Pantera. That should tell you how old I am..... :(
