Just had to put it out there...
so, everyone has some mixed opinions/views on this season. lets recap:
Offense, not as impressive as last year....check Defense, not what we thought it would be in 2nd year in system...check Pretty big injuries on both sides of the ball.....check Spotty special teams play......check we are 3-1 thru 4 games...... so what do we learn by this? If the offense improves a lil, as well as the defense, along with not missing 29 yd FGs, and people getting healthy.... we go undefeated from here on out???? not a bad outlook yea? |
Long live the power of positive thinking. I like it.

With the injuries, and Pittsburgh one of the only teams in the next 7 with a winning record, it looks good for 9-2 going into the money part of the season. But no more injuries, dammit.

i hear what yall saying but a win over arizona, priceless
|
I might be happy at 4-and-1. Let's see.

you know, i didnt put this out there to call anyone out bout being positive/negative. Ive been around since the sunshiner/moonshiner days, but, any given year before the superbowl win, im pretty sure everyone would be stoked with a 3-1 record. I mean, cmon, there used to be threads at the end of the season doing all the math (if we win, and Dal, Minn, Atl, and Rams lose, we make it to the playoffs via point differential) Last year spoiled us quite a bit, i think are expectations were a lil too high coming in....all that matters at the end of the day is a W right?

no the offense hasn't been as good,
BUT we also had a ton of injuries last year other than one kick, ST has been good: 2 TO's, good returns defense has given up 6 more points over 4 games versus better opponents so optimism might be falling, but the sky isn't |
